Joint Camp - Friday-Monday the 5th-8th of December

• Waiting for the other clubs to do their food bank donations and then for subcom to be dissolved
• Anna wants to bother people about this

Uncharity Vigil - Friday-Saturday the 6-7th of February

• We raised $825.85! Door and raffle money is being sorted out now
  • With door and raffle finalised, the total is $944.00

• We discuss some specific feedback we received about Uncharity Vigil, which was mainly about how money was not raised primarily on monetised games but instead on flat donations, that the room was closed early in the morning on Saturday, no one-shots ran, and members were left in the room without gatekeepers on occasions
• It isn't good that the room was left without gatekeepers or committee members present, it is difficult to lay blame considering there are no specifics about who left the room at which time, but it is still important to keep on top of in the future
• We discuss putting caps on flat donations instead of in activities
  • Flat donations are something that has always been done and is incentivised by the dragon vote, the dragon vote is an incentive to spend money in Unigames
• We could try harder to encourage one-shots in the future, there's often a lot of interest in running one-shots but they often don't eventuate
  • Putting out a Unigames-specific schedule like we say below may help with this
• Doing a big schedule with all the clubs also doesn't always work, it means that clubs don't want to run things at the same time as other clubs, but that sometimes means events just don't happen
• We could also do a silent boardgame thing where people try and beat high scores and come back over and over to pay to play and persists over the night
• And on closing the room on overnight events, if no one is in here to participate in activities, it is expectable that the people holding Unigames open might go home considering it is a tiring event
  • Unigames is often the final bastion at these events along with UniSFA, people will often gravitate to UniSFA more as the activity will be watching movies instead of playing games, which is perhaps more pleasing to sleepy people
  • The room did stay open until almost 6 am when there was no one else around, and was opened again at 9:33 am
• The overnight events just depend on who's there and what activities are being played, if no one is there then it is acceptable to go home after running the event for almost 13 hours

• Nene thinks of running chess where anyone can move a piece by paying an amount. Everyone cheers

Committee Business

OGM

• Jeremy is planning on resigning, we do not have a specific date though he will continue to
• As per constitution we can appoint a committee member or ordinary financial member to the role of treasure which will be ratified at next general meeting
• We can also call an OGM, must be called within 2 weeks of resignation with 2 weeks notice to club
• We are likely to go down the route of OGM, we need 21 attendance
• Date should be decided by the end of this week -> Looking after the 23rd of March
• RO's are needed

Banking

• Due to this resignation, we have decided to delay changing the signatories/contacts on our CommBank, Square and ABN
  • This would create unnecessary paperwork and be time consuming to do twice
  • Anna is the primary contact on all of these, as well as Connor being the other signatory, both of whom are still on committee (technically)
  • This means these accounts are still accessible and usable and in trusted hands while we wait to elect a new Treasurer
