Reports

President's Report (Connor)

  • Hi guys! I’m Connor Brennan, president of the runner up best club Unigames
  • I ran a lot of the intro events to start the year
  • Was last year’s PROSH Marshall
  • Ran the Lances & Lasers camp back in June (you should watch for more things this June perhaps…)
  • Ran RP4Life this year alongside Ash
  • Overall, I think time didn’t permit me to personally be an entirely productive president in terms of doing things myself
  • However, I’m very proud of this committee for all their amazing work this year, it was nice to see us run some new kind of events, and change up some of our old ways of doing things, in ways that will keep this club thriving in the future
  • I think it’s because of this entire group’s work that we were awarded with the Runner Up Best Club award, and I also don’t think I would’ve won the best president award without such a hardworking, dedicated committee

Vice President's Report (Gen)

  • Hello everyone! I'm Gen and I've been your vice president for 2025
  • I've run or helped run 18 events this year across so many areas of the club, including board game nights, RPG nights, Flesh and Blood events, bloodbowl tourneys and painting days
  • I've also organised collaborative events with Pride and UniSFA
  • I've been on two subcommitties, chairing Charity Vigil and being a camp leader for Joint Camp
  • I've helped out with setting up and scheduling fresher campaigns across both semesters
  • I have sent many emails to guild and even wrote a newsletter
  • Thank you so much to Unigames committee! You have been such a huge part of my life for the past three years and it's been such a privilege to help with the running of this club

Treasurer's Report (Anna)

  • I ran a couple events, and I was on Joint Camp Subcom
  • I did two camp budgets, and re-worked the way we do menu breakdowns
  • I pioneered the Square, which has been such a great thing for the club
  • I acquired the club over $4,000 in grant money!
  • I organised finalising the SSAF grant, which included donating over $600 worth of food to the Guild Food Pantry
  • I did many a food run
  • I also got us an ABN, which is cool for admin things, such as ticket sales online, the Square, and more!
  • I did a fair bit of general fine-tuning and admin work!
  • Financial report is included here, please contact me if you have any questions, queries or concerns.

Secretary's Report (Nene)

  • i've written all but two of our meeting minutes this year and published them all within the week, including the minutes for our four general meetings (five if you include this one)
  • i also wrote newsletters monthly until i begged and pleaded for it to end, thank you to gen, anna, and ella for doing the other newsletter and minutes
  • i did the event attendance tabulation again with help from ella for some of the later entries
  • i did not run very many events but i was on the subcom for charity vigil, was a camp leader for unigames camp, and attended and proxied for so many other subcoms as well as helping with regular events
  • i cleaned up and organised our google drive, gmail and hackmd and started what may be a lifelong mission to upload the old unigames minutes to the website
  • i also wrote the applications for the club awards which got us runner up best club and best president!
  • i also also finished the dragon design this year as well as organising all the oday printing of flyers, guides, and stickers!
  • generally i just did my best to make sure everything was running well, including keeping track of events, reminding people to do their pressing action items, responding to emails, and a million other administrative tasks

Librarian's Report (Jeremy)

  • I conducted CPR on Pokemon TCG in the club, with new decks and some pretty logos
  • Was on and chaired a lot of the Joint Quiz Night this year, which I hope everyone enjoyed!
  • I created and implemented our event recommendations form (look for the QR code in the clubroom) and the physical Looking for a game forms (look on the pinboard!)
  • Ran and finished two awesome book buys where I think we got some incredible new games, including building our Spearheads
  • Did countless little bits of maintenance on our library to keep it nice and running
  • Went to Swancon, ran our stall at Relay for Life, odays, club carnivals and helped at Roleplay for Life
  • Generally ran a heap of game nights, helped setup our new TCG and Warhammer shelf and almost finished sleeving the large majority of our games (new librarian I will continue helping)
  • Thank you for a good couple of years and much love to this years and next years committee <3

Fresher Rep's Report (Jack D)

  • I organised fresher campaigns in both semester 1 and 2, which I have heard many great stories from and am super thankful to all GM's (and Gen for guiding me in organising)
  • I was the main face at relay for life, staying the full time as well as making sure we continued raising money and doing laps as well as buying dinner
  • I've organised refresher rewelcome and the 2026 fresher welcome as well as getting prep started for 2026's fresher rep to assign fresher campaigns
  • I was on megagame subcom and pushed hard for it along with Jack Bariss
  • It's been such an amazing and interesting experience being on Unigames committee, i've had such an amazing experience and have had the absolute pleasure of meeting so many wonderful people, i thank everyone who's given me advice and helped me along this journey
