• The new decks are in the clubroom and have been sleeved

• We could get another club deck which would replace an old one (based on Gibbi's recommendations)

Casual Pokemon Afternoon - Study Break, Tuesday 27th of May @ 4pm

• Will be a casual Pokemon playing event, open for any skill level
• Will be slightly unlimited with current in standard cards allowed but also cards from the previous standard (E) allowed as well
  • Temporarily unlimited because it is very difficult to get cards from the new set/standard right now, proxies will also be explicitly allowed for this reason, but we always accept proxies anyways

• We would also like to organise another event where we have a proxy and deck building workshop, followed by a casual tournament, this would be during the semester holidays

Intro to Flesh and Blood - Week 12, 19th-25th of May

• Gen has made a groupchat and will be sending out a whenisgood for (most likely) Week 12
• This will be a beginner friendly event, not specifically an intro event
• No responses to Gen's whenisgood yet, the event may have to be pushed back if it can't be organised soon

Future Warhammer Tournaments

• Lucy thinks we could run something early in the holidays (doubles tournament), and something like a 1k at the start of next semester
• Potential dates for tournaments:
  • 2k tournament for June 15th
  • Doubles tournament on June 29th

Blood Bowl

• It's for sure round 7 now

OPR/Indie Skirmish

• We have received interest in a skirmish event for OPR, which is basically a cheap Warhammer (with no model requirements and simpler rules)
• Could be ideal considering our apprehension in promoting Games Workshop too much and our hopes for cost effective wargaming
• We can look into running this later as we are presently running a bunch of events

Collaborative Events

Megagame with eSports

• We may have to get a new version of Watch the Skies
  • ~100 dollars
• Also looking at another one called Den of Wolves, about members of a space fleet surviving an interplanetary attack
• They discussed running a smaller one first (about 15-20 people) to see how viable a larger game is
  • They just need player and rules guides to organise this, which can be hard to get
• More cooking will be done after Charity Vigil

• We are going to reach out to UWASCA about organising a collab

Fresher Campaigns

• Jack would like to do a feedback form for the fresher campaigns
• Ideas for the feedback forms are as follows
  • Please note Jack isn't present at this meeting so we will discuss more in depth next week, below are the ideas he sent prior to the meeting
    • Basically a survey to fresher campaign GMs asking what they think has gone well, what they'd like improved, and what are some potential areas of streamlining
    • Potentially also a place to update on how their game has gone so far, group dynamics, etc
    • Second survey to players as well, asking how they've found the process, what's went well and what hasn't, same as the previous form in that regard
    • Also how they've found their fellow players, GM and the system they're playing
    • Also include stuff potentially like 'Has being in a fresher campaign encouraged you to come to Unigames more?' 'Has being in a game helped you build friendships with the other players and the GM?' etc
  • Feedback forms are usually a good idea
  • Asking specifically about group dynamics and fellow players might not be a good idea, we can have a space where they can talk about concerns they have though
  • We can cook on it more when Jack is back next meeting

Painting the Blood Bowl Minis

• James has decided on the dwarves to be painted lore accurate
• Alex has decided the elf should be painted black and red, like the Korean T1 esports team
  • He has also requested for FAKER to be written on the back of one of them
• We should be paying Cam for these, we will message him and ask how much he'd like to be compensated for them
• Jeremy contacted Cam:
  • His rate would be $50 per team (so $100)
    • This is insanely cheap considering the work
  • Will likely be done over break as he's finishing uni this semester

Mini Magnets

• The elf magnets are too strong
• We will replace them once the elf team has been painted by Cam

• We have received feedback about our objective markers for wargaming
  • They are fraying at the edges
  • They are not centred (which does affect gameplay)
  • We also don't have enough, we need 6 more
• The shop we bought the objective markers from are currently on a break, Jeremy will keep checking on it
• If they never open again (unlikely) we can make our own objective markers somehow

  • They are MDF towers that you put dice in the top of that then roll down into the base

    • Also makes a very fun sound

  • Storage? We can keep one out in the room and then keep the other four in the Monolith, to bring out during RPG nights
  • If they take up too much space we can auction them off

GM Expression of Interest Form

• Nene might have sent the form out by the time the meeting started
  • No they didn't
• The form is finished it just needs to be sent out, waiting for a day when we don't have other important announcements so it doesn't get buried

Noise in the Loft

• UCC doesn't have a roof, so if it's noisy in the Loft it travels down and gets irritating for them
• We need to manage the noise during our one-shot nights, this includes emphasising to GMs to manage their game's noise for everyone's benefit
• If we notice it's noisy when it's not a one-shot night we can also go up and harp on people about keeping it down
• We can limit how many tables we have in the Loft on a one-shot night and plan to book other places if it gets to be too many (ideally 1-3 tables in the Loft before we move to other spaces)
  • We should utilise the CCZ more for events
  • Although the CCZ is echoey in some rooms, it has whiteboards which are fun to use, we can easily book the whole space, and it is more accessible than the clubroom
• We will also make a little guide for GMs running one-shots with tips to manage noise and be respectful to players and other people
