TCGs
Magic: The Gathering
Booster Box Buying Bhenanigans
- Thunder Junction is still alive
Final Fantasy Prerelease - Sunday 8th of June @ 11am
- This was supposed to be SNoM and then turned into FF prerelease, but we may not be able to get kits for the event, we could maybe do a different event
- Ash will email Tactics to see if they can give us prerelease kits, if they can't then they will do an EOI to see about another kind of event
- Probably reverting back to SNoM or doing a draft
Anna: Do advertising for next MtG event
Ash: Email Tactics about FF Prerelease
MTG Precon League - Weekly on Mondays @ 5pm
- Fourth day happened, total attendance of 20 people

- Ash is going to make info cards for the decks, giving details about the deck (like how to play it) and a QR code to link to the Archidekt
Ash: Make the guides and QR codes for the MtG club decks
Other TCGs
Casual Pokemon Afternoon - Study Break, Tuesday 27th of May @ 4pm
- Will be a casual Pokemon playing event, open for any skill level
- Will be slightly unlimited with current in standard cards allowed but also cards from the previous standard (E) allowed as well
- Temporarily unlimited because it is very difficult to get cards from the new set/standard right now, proxies will also be explicitly allowed for this reason, but we always accept proxies anyways
- Bratvertising was put out
- We would also like to organise another event where we have a proxy and deck building workshop, followed by a casual tournament, this would be during the semester holidays
Intro to Flesh and Blood
- This will be pushed back to semester 2
Gen: Ponder the orb about Intro to Flesh and Blood
Wargaming
Future Warhammer Tournaments
- Lucy thinks we could run something early in the holidays (doubles tournament), and something like a 1k at the start of next semester
- Potential dates for tournaments:
- 2k tournament for June 15th
- Doubles tournament on June 29th
Blood Bowl
- It's still round 7
OPR/Indie Skirmish
- We have received interest in a skirmish event for OPR, which is basically a cheap Warhammer (with no model requirements and simpler rules)
- Could be ideal considering our apprehension in promoting Games Workshop too much and our hopes for cost effective wargaming
- We can look into running this later as we are presently running a bunch of events
- Will likely be during semester 2
Jeremy: Look into how we would run an OPR/Indie Skirmish
Collaborative Events
Megagame with eSports
- Reps: Jack B and Jack D
- We may have to get a new version of Watch the Skies
- ~100 dollars
- Also looking at another one called Den of Wolves, about members of a space fleet surviving an interplanetary attack
- They discussed running a smaller one first (about 15-20 people) to see how viable a larger game is
- They just need player and rules guides to organise this, which can be hard to get
- More cooking will be done after Charity Vigil
- There will be an online meeting this week to sort out details like what game they'll run, timing
- We will be suggesting this become a proper subcom, but it will be discussed at the meeting they have this week
Collab with UWASCA
- We are going to reach out to UWASCA about organising a collab
- Probably an RPG night of some kind?
Ash: Reach out to UWASCA about organising a collaborative event
Population Health Postgraduate Society
- Ella spoke to some people from this club, they'd be interested in a disease-based boardgames event
- Probably a semester 2 event
- Games like:
- Pandemic
- Bristol
- Dead of Winter
Ella: Organise a date for the PHPS collab event
Major Events
Charity Vigil - Week 10, Friday-Saturday the 9th-10th of May
- It happened!
- Attendance: 94
- That's so many
- Still finishing budget and will have total amount raised tallied up soon
- No meeting this week, will have one next Monday
- Feedback form is out! Please fill it out if you have something to say, good or bad, about the event
- Unigames specific feedback:
- Not being on Easter weekend is good, but not super good that it was at the same time as EMAS event though
- There wasn't much overlap between attendees of both events but the sensory experience left a bit to be desired
- We could organise more Unigames specific events? This is frequent feedback for us
- The tournaments ran very well and had quite a few sign-ups
- If involving more committee members than on the subcom, give advanced notice so they know
- Auction items feel like stuff they're trying to get rid of
- This is sort of the purpose of the auction yeah
- Pizza organisation was a little bit poor, same with organisation of who is using whose money systems (Squares, floats, etc)
- Not being on Easter weekend is good, but not super good that it was at the same time as EMAS event though
Swancon - Sunday the 1st of June
- Swancon is soon (31st of May - 1st of June)
- Librarian always gets a ticket to go to scout new boardgames and fun stuff
- Jeremy will be going on the Sunday

- Debates: Jack D and Nene
- LARP: Connor and Jack B
- One-shots: Jack B
- Craft Night: Ella
- We still have to get more first aid certificates for committee
- First aid has been bumped, doesn't seem feasible to have more of us with first aid certificates before camp
- Jack B, Gen and Connor will be able to cover it anyways
- Nene will be doing the advertising
- This is when Nene shows their progress to everyone during the meeting
- Everyone thinks it looks good so far
- Connor sent out the announcement and job roster to Gatekeepers
- We have decided on a $100 dollar ticket with snack voucher for early bird, $100 without snack voucher for late bird
- If you have any questions about tickets or want to attend camp but can't do all days, please contact Connor and he can help you
- Gen and Connor had their meeting with Guild this morning about the Camp, EMP has been approved
- Advertising and ticket sales will be put out on Monday
Connor: Organise first aid learning for [REDACTED]
Gen: Print out the forms for camp (65)
Gen: Print out info packs for camp (3)
Anna: Do the 'how to sell a camp ticket' guide
Nene: Do [REDACTED] advertising
Ella: Thrift cloth for camp craft night
Fresher Zone
Fresher Campaigns
- Jack would like to do a feedback form for the fresher campaigns
- Ideas for the feedback forms are as follows
- Please note Jack isn't present at this meeting so we will discuss more in depth next week, below are the ideas he sent prior to the meeting
- Basically a survey to fresher campaign GMs asking what they think has gone well, what they'd like improved, and what are some potential areas of streamlining
- Potentially also a place to update on how their game has gone so far, group dynamics, etc
- Second survey to players as well, asking how they've found the process, what's went well and what hasn't, same as the previous form in that regard
- Also how they've found their fellow players, GM and the system they're playing
- Also include stuff potentially like 'Has being in a fresher campaign encouraged you to come to Unigames more?' 'Has being in a game helped you build friendships with the other players and the GM?' etc
- Feedback forms are usually a good idea
- Asking specifically about group dynamics and fellow players might not be a good idea, we can have a space where they can talk about concerns they have though
- Jack is back now
- Keeping out group dynamics stuff is fair enough, reasoning was that they may not know about complaint forms and stuff
- Having a bit at the end like 'do you have any concerns related to your fresher campaign?' or something similar would be better
- Please note Jack isn't present at this meeting so we will discuss more in depth next week, below are the ideas he sent prior to the meeting
Frack: Do up the fresher campaign feedback forms
Frack: Ask fresher GMs to shill camp to their players

- Alex has decided the elf should be painted black and red, like the Korean T1 esports team
- He has also requested for FAKER to be written on the back of one of them
- Jeremy contacted Cam:
- His rate would be $50 per team (so $100)
- This is insanely cheap considering the work
- Will likely be done over break as he's finishing uni this semester
- His rate would be $50 per team (so $100)
- Jeremy contacted Cam, who said he'll come pick them up at some point and do them over the break
- We will ask how he'd like to be paid for them
Jeremy: Contact Cam about painting the elf and dwarf Blood Bowl minis

- We will replace them once the elf team has been painted by Cam

Jeremy: Get magnets for the Blood Bowl minis

- They are fraying at the edges
- They are not centred (which does affect gameplay)
