  • Will function as sister events, where we do a one-shot night that will be sci-fi and fantasy themed, and UniSFA has a trope talk

Pokemon Deckbuilding Workshop
  • Will be after the 15th of July, so a while away
Updating the Club Pokemon Decks
  • Currently the decks are playable, just out of standard (they fit the rotation before this one, went out of standard in April)
  • Have been putting off updating them until there was more time for decks to get established and widely played
  • Now that it's been a bit we can start looking at them, maybe once Jeremy gets back, but Nene will start investigating sooner

Intro to Flesh and Blood - Week 4, 11th-17th of August
  • Gen reached out to the FABheads, they are still keen to run this event
  • Gen will be sending out a whenisgood for week 4 to find a day everyone can do

Wargaming

Warhammer Doubles Tournament - Sunday the 29th of June @ ~8am-6:30pm
  • It happened!
  • Attendance: 10
  • Paying for tickets in person went fine
  • We will be putting out a feedback form for this event
  • General feedback:
    • Event could have been organised earlier
    • Some people didn't like paying for tickets in person, liked having already paid for it before the event
      • Based on this feedback we discuss doing bank transfers prior to the event, likely having people use particular reference codes so we know who has and hasn't paid, and having a spreadsheet that can be checked for whether or not people have paid on the day
  • We should also move our wargaming communications to somewhere more centralised so more committee members and others can see the details that go into tournaments
    • Likely in a server for this purpose or in specialised channels in the Unigames server
  • We have a discussion about whether to organise a Warhammer commissioner role, similar to our Blood Bowl commissioner role, but due to differences of opinion we are going to wait another week before we talk about it more
    • Everyone cook on it
  • Following this, we are going to sort out another Warhammer tournament for early semester 2, and after that we will organise dates for the rest of the year (at least) in advance

Blood Bowl Tournament - Sunday the 13th of July @ 9am
  • Gen will be present for the event and so will one of our Blood Bowl commissioners (Cam)
  • We will be requesting people bring their own mat as we only have three
  • Nix came to us and asked if we could provide medals for the tournament, not just for winners but also medals for sportsmanship, best painting, etc
    • Nene will bring in badges for Gen to decorate
  • Advertising was put out, player info pack is in the relevant Blood Bowl channels
  • Gen will need to call about making sure the doors to the venue are open by 8am for them to set up

  • Apparently a tournament for Trench Crusade is hard, a campaign would be less hard, it's just difficult to scale it up

  • Trial game was last Saturday, it went well
  • Some problems:
    • The people who ran the game had some different interpretations of the badly written rules
    • Game went a little bit over time
  • They're going to start looking into a bigger and smaller version to run, both as a future event and as a feature of Joint [REDACTED]

Population Health Postgraduate Society

  • Probably a semester 2 event
  • Games like:
    • Pandemic
    • Bristol
    • Dead of Winter
  • They responded to Ella's email, Nene emailed them back last night

White Dwarf

  • Gen went to White Dwarf and learned they used to run RPG events, but they stopped running them as no one wanted to stay back to run them
  • They are happy for us to have posters and fliers in their store to advertise us and if people ask, they can recommend us
    • The only worry would be attracting too much of a non-university audience, which could be bigger than our capacity
    • Although this is a fun idea it's not something we're interested in right now, but we are always open to more collaborations and sponsorships

  • We are refunding portions of some of the tickets bought for camp, how this works is we cannot refund food or snack vouchers bought but we can refund for the portion of the ticket set aside for sleeping at camp

      • Lots of people became more interested over camp and once debates started
      • Could have more moderation and structure, some debates went on a bit too long

    • Any such distribution is subject to final approval form participating club committees. If negotiations fail to reach a distribution that is accepted by club committees, the subcommittee will approach the Guild to mediate further negotiations between the participating clubs

    • Getting an ABN could mean we get audited (this is fine, we hate lying)
