• Ran well, using the pride clubroom went well, good for accessibility
  • We should have an accessible room at least booked for each of our events, whether we use it or not

PHPS Collab - Week 4, Monday the 11th of August @ 4pm

Social Deduction Boardgames - Week 6, Friday the 29th of August

• Connor decided on the date, it is as above
• EMP is done, advertising will be done soon

Collaborative Boardgame Event - Week 8, 15th-21st of September

• The rollerblading club is interested in having another collab, they are going to start running afternoon skate sessions but don't know the day yet
• Rollerblading has their afternoon skate on on Tuesdays, so it will likely fall on that day
• We will likely just play fun, popular boardgames with them instead of having a proper theme
• The boardgames will probably be around 3-6pm, with their skate session happening at 6pm
• This will be pushed back to week 8 because a majority of the UWARC committee can't make this date on week 7

MTG Precon League

• The collaborative discord server has been made
• Tabletop ECU has made us a logo for use for the server and for advertising
• The polls came out with Monday winning by a pretty drastic margin, so we have decided to again put the day for Precon League on Mondays

MtG Club Decks

• Gibbi is mostly done making the lists for the decks
• Ash is almost done with the QR codes for the decks and they will be sent in the discord sometime soon
• Ash will send the QR codes and deck details tomorrow
• Ash is not at the meeting so Nene is copypasting what they said over text:
  • Donald suggested 7p highlander decks. This is a cool format. With approval, I would like to proxy 2 club decks as we have no real competitive 1v1 decks in the club, people tend to do commander 1v1, (that is bad). Also this is the format in which Gibbi, Xane and Elliot all came in the top 10 as (kind of) Unigames members. Besides this, this is also a format unique to Australia so supporting it is hype. I already have a decklist I'm testing for the club.
  • (If approved) The deck lists are probably Grixis and a 5 Colour deck. It will cost us like 100 bucks for two decks. (Sleeves plus box plus proxies for 2 decks) I can pick them up from ggs if it gets approved shoot me a text
• We agree this would be a cool format to support and so we are budgeting 100 dollars towards the creation of the decks
• Motion to budget 100 dollars for 2 7 point highlander proxy decks

Pokemon Deckbuilding Workshop - Week 3, Tuesday the 5th of August @ 3pm

• It was a few days ago!
• Attendance: 8
• Went very well
• People said they would be interested in weekly events (this would unfortunately be too much)
• Not much deckbuilding actually happened, most people played games, but we got feedback on future club decks (see the section below)
• People are interested in having a tournament in the future, which we will hopefully organise within the next 1-2 months

Updating the Club Pokemon Decks

• So far the decks Nene and Jeremy are cooking on are:
  • Festival Lead
  • Typhlosion
  • Hop's Zacian
  • Rocket's Mewtwo
  • Ogerpon Box
• We will likely keep the Charizard deck and then get all the above decks, so we have 6 club decks instead of the current 4
• We would like to get new deck boxes, sleeves and materials for the majority of the decks, which is a somewhat substantial cost
• Considering the amount of deck boxes we need for Pokemon and FAB we are considering bulk buying them, and will contact Good Games Morley about it

Warhammer 40k Tournaments - Study Break, Saturday the 6th of September @ 8 am

• This tournament was organised and advertised in the space between this and the last meeting
• Will be a 2k tournament
• Ticket pricing will be sorted out next week or the week after, depending on how AOS ticket sales are going

• It's next week!
• 6 sign ups so far, a couple more people are intending on attending

• It's still going on, apparently a lot of players are displeased about this
• Next Blood Bowl League will be after this one so it's holding up a couple things

Mini Painting Day - Week 2, Friday the 1st of August @ 11am-2pm

• It was last week!
• Attendance: 7
• Not as busy as last time, a few freshers though
• New paint storage went well
• Next event will likely be during study break, before the 2k tournament

Trench Crusade Game Day - Week 5, Saturday the 23rd of August @ 12-5pm

• They're going to work on getting badges, lanyards, terrain, and paper minis

White Dwarf

• Connor sent the email (before the meeting!) and got a reply saying: "No worries Connor. See you around."
• We will just move on from considering White Dwarf as a sponsorship, if we want to do this in the future we will go talk to them in person

Access Collabs

• Last year we had monthly collaborative events with the UWA Access Department in their clubroom
• The last we heard about the events was that the then president would put in their handover to continue these collaborations with us, but we never heard about it again
• Anna is interested in restarting these, Gen will reach out to them about starting collabs again

Roleplay 4 Life - Week 6, Saturday-Sunday 30th-31st of August

• Reps: Ash, Connor
• Advertising was put out, notably lest shitposty than usual, definitely more serious
  • Nene helped considerably
• The Relay instagram account reposted our story about it, which was nice
• Connor also emailed Relay and asked if they were interested in collaborating more, they asked if we had any ideas, and the thing is our 'idea' is all the stuff we do for relay (Roleplay 4 Life, Blood Bowl 4 Life)
• One idea we had was having Relay people on the livestream, they weren't very interested in that either
• The livestream timetable is starting to fill up
• Like usual livestream tables will be allowed to pick their players, reservations might also be used for the other roleplay tables

SOCPAC Meeting - Week 3, Tuesday the 5th of August @ 6pm

• Nene didn't attend in person but did attend online, as did Connor
• There's a new initiative from the Pride Department where they offer free condoms and other sexual health products to students, they would like to extend this resource to clubs
  • They can provide packages of condoms and consent posters, and they can be reordered
• Information about other Relay 4 Life events
  • Daffodil day: On the 21st of August at 12-2pm, a collaboration with the Micro Volunteering Club and Ponytail Project, they're selling daffodils, scrunchies, and origami, and doing a sausage sizzle
  • Record Relay Quiz Night: On the 27th of August at 6-8pm, at the Tav
• Relay also say they're open to collaborations but specifically for open mics and performances (presumably on the actual Relay day?)
• Club awards are coming up, we will get more information about it soon
• Next round of grants is the sem 2 SPG, due Friday the 29th of August at 11.59pm
• Standardised complaint form is still being worked on and will hopefully be finished by the end of the year
  • The form will be mandatory for clubs to use once it's been released
  • It would also replace our current complaint form
  • Mainly for the purpose of regulating things clubs shouldn't have to deal with and should be directed to other services, will direct the people using this form to those services instead

Tenancy

• Connor sent Tenancy an email about the Guild Master Plan, weirdly no response yet considering he sent it 1 minute before the meeting started
• Gen spoke to Jackie, who is cooking on our new tenancy contract, so we're just waiting on that

• We agree that anyone on committee can do gatekeeper training, irregardless of whether they're an exec or not

Inter-club Cleanup - Week 4, Tuesday the 12th of August @ 12-2pm

• It's an event being organised by the Guild Environment Department to clean up the campus, we can sign up as clubs
• It's meant to work against littering and towards having a cleaner campus
• We have been signed up, hasn't been advertised

Instagram

• Ella wants to talk about having Unigames shitposts on the Instagram and an easy way to get consent for posting photos of people from Unigames
  • We agree the easiest way is just asking when photos are taken, we will also add 'DM for photo removal' to our Instagram bio
• Ella knows we post a lot of advertising but not a lot of people enjoying the events we advertise
• We agree that if we ever have funny ideas of things to post, they can just be posted as a story.

• Club paints are now in labelled drawers in the Kallax!

Eunigames Playmats

• Jackie has set a plan for the playmats, she will refine her sketches further and bring them to us for approval before testing out colour palettes, then refining the whole drawing proper

• Ash wants to talk about furniture
• Again, they are not here, so Nene will paste what they said over text:
  • The space near the vaccum cleaner. Lovely space for a 2:4 kallax!!! We can move MTG stuff and bloodbowl plus minis to this kallax to save space

• If utilised well it could free a lot of valuable library shelf space and store more of our TCG stuff

• We are again discussing whether we should have dice trays in the clubroom
• Previous reasons we decided not to buy them:
  • If people enjoy using them they often have their own and bring them to game nights to use
  • Easy to ruin
• Could be a good Uncharity stretch goal
• Unigames dice trays would be cool... Custom dice trays would be very cool....
• For now Lucy will look at how much cost and effort it would take to make dice trays

• We have received feedback about our objective markers for wargaming
  • They are fraying at the edges
  • They are not centered (which does affect gameplay)
  • We also don't have enough, we need 6 more

Committee Business

Banking

• Anna thinks we should get an ABN
• All the other Cam Hall clubs have an ABN
• Pros:
  • Will mean we don't have to remake the whole square account with every new treasurer
  • We will get a bank card, yay!
  • Will make Square stuff a lot easier in the long run
• (Slight) Cons:
  • We wouldn't have to submit a tax return, but would have to submit a form stating we are Not For Profit
  • Getting an ABN could mean we get audited (this is fine, we hate lying)
• This is something Anna would like to do in the long term, and hence won't be done immediately

After Hours Access Form

• Alistair let us know we should fill out this form for this year, Nene grabbed one from finance and Jackie helped Anna fill it out
• Then Anna got an email from Guild to say that it wasn't actually necessary for us to fill this out, the theory for why there's been an issue with security in Cam Hall is likely because the door is busted and not closing properly
• Other Cam Hall clubs are talking to Guild about fixing this
