• The boardgames will be around 3-6pm, with the skate session happening at 6pm
• EMP has not been done as Guild has been down
  • Should be up this week so we'll see

• A bunch of people were sick, nothing to be done about it

• Arts Union let us know that they actually want to do a boardgame night, so we will figure that out more next week

• Next prerelease is for Spider-man

• GGs was contacted, it's $80 per kit
• We also let them know that last prerelease their Eventlink didn't work

MTG Precon League

• Week 0 happened!
• 19 people signed up, 22 people showed up, and a bunch of people are still interested in participating that didn't show up for week 0
• Around 6-7 people from TTECU
• Second day is next week on 01/09 and will be in Giumelli Learning Studios 206 and 207

MtG Club Decks

• Highlander decks have been proxied and are in the clubroom, we are temporarily borrowing Ash's deckboxes and sleeves until we get the new ones from SPG
• Gibbi has been done with the lists for the new club decks, and is ready for us to buy them

Other TCGs

Pokemon Tournament

• Jeremy sent out a poll of what day people would like a tournament on, Wednesday and Friday are on top with 6 votes (8 including Jeremy and Nene)
• We are planning on organising a tournament on Friday the 3rd of October
• Hopefully we will have the new deckboxes and such before then

Updating the Club Pokemon Decks

• Feedback was received on the deck suggestions, like the 7P Highlander Deck we are just waiting on the sleeves and deckboxes for them to be complete

• We will also be giving back the box of randomised Pokemon materials we have to their owner

FAB Casual Game Day - Week 7, Wednesday the 10th of September @ 12pm

• Guild website down, no EMP, advertising will be out probably the week before

Warhammer

Age of Sigmar Tournament - Week 4, Sunday the 17th of August @ 8 am

• Feedback form went out, had 2 responses:
  • People enjoyed it
  • Loved the badges
  • Terrain wasn't necessarily as suitable for AOS as the usual tournaments
  • Felt very casual
  • People also enjoyed the prizing raffle

Warhammer 40k Tournament - Study Break, Saturday the 6th of September @ 8 am

• We need to organise ticket prices for this still, the current idea is we go back to running tickets through Matt for this tournament because of the big loss we had on the AOS tournament
  • So far we have lost $390 over the last two tournaments
  • People also like doing transactions through the website more than doing it on the day/outside the tournament
  • Prices will also go down if it's just through Matt as we make the prices higher to get Matt a payable wage
• We decide we will go through with going back to the old way of running tickets, with payment going through the website and to Matt
• Tickets have been advertised and are out, 3 tickets sold so far with more expected to be sold
• Player handbook was just put out

Blood Bowl

Blood Bowl League

• Commissioners have been busy so things aren't quite moving along yet
• We are probably going to choose 7s for the season, which means we have to redo the website a bit and lose some money, but that money is a very small amount
• Gen and Lucy plan on advertising this weekend in spite of other hurdles
• League will be finishing soon at our hand and will be followed by a feedback form

Mini Painting Day - Study Break, Wednesday the 3rd of September @ 11am

• It's next week!
• We were informed someone was interested in painting minis at a mini painting day, they don't have minis of their own, and our selection of clubroom minis is very sad
• It would be fun to have some nice, primed ones for people to paint
• In 2023 a painting competition was ran where we had a bunch of 3D printed fairy cats, we could have something similar that we get for things like this

Lucy: Look for some decent minis for the upcoming Painting Day

Trench Crusade Game Day - Week 5, Saturday the 23rd of August @ 12-5pm

• It was last week!
• Attendance: 6
• Jack D ran the majority of the event
• We have the stuff to run more in the future

Wargame O-Day

• Lucy and Jeremy are interested in running another Wargaming O-Day
• More similar to our TCG and RPG O-Days than the Wargaming O-Day we ran last year
• Will likely be in week 8

Ella Idea Quarantine Zone

• This quarantine zone does not exist to shame Ella, I (Nene) just have no fucking clue where to put these things

2025 Charity Vigil

• Subcom still not dissolved

OGM - Week 6, Monday the 25th August @ 2pm

• OGM happened
• Went for about 3 and a half hours
• Motions were passed and failed
• We will have to have another OGM, not a requirement but we will just have to organise one to sort these out
  • We will get pizza
    • Everyone please come to our Pizza OGM
• A whenisgood will be sent out for the end of semester, and we will try again
• We were under committee of the whole for the meeting, a message has gone out since these minutes about what amendments were and weren't vetoed

• Nene also contacted Good Games Morley about having the stream showed on their TV screens when they can manage it during the event
• We will have bank transfers available on the night also, just asking people to write in the description that it's for RP4Life, and maybe giving people papers to track how much they're spending so they can do a bulk transfer after

• Gen spoke to Jackie, who is cooking on our new tenancy contract, so we're just waiting on that

  • $204.00 for Clubroom storage, for a 2x4 Kallax, as well as 3 boxes for it
  • $747.30 for 8 Decks-worth of TCG Sleeves, 35 Boardgames-worth of Sleeves and 10 Deck-boxes to maintain our games
  • $57.80 for 4 Dice Trays, to minimise dice noise in the clubroom and protect our tables
• This comes to a total of $1,156.90 that we are applying for

• Gen is going to take over doing the Gatekeeper FAQ document as a long term goal
• We're gonna change the colour for the role again to be in line with more colour blindness stuff

Diet Culture

• There's been an issue regarding diet culture comments in the clubroom regarding stuff like not eating enough or skipping meals, discussing weight and similar things
• We will send a message out to gatekeepers about this as this sort of thing can be fairly triggering to some and can make the clubroom feel like an unsafe space
• This will be tied into a general message to gatekeepers about being wary of topics of conversation in the clubroom that can make people uncomfortable

• We need to set standards again about keeping up the room cleanliness

Banking

• Anna thinks we should get an ABN
• All the other Cam Hall clubs have an ABN
• Pros:
  • Will mean we don't have to remake the whole square account with every new treasurer
  • We will get a bank card, yay!
  • Will make Square stuff a lot easier in the long run
  • Makes the Eventbrite easier
• (Slight) Cons:
  • We wouldn't have to submit a tax return, but would have to submit a form stating we are Not For Profit
  • Getting an ABN could mean we get audited (this is fine, we hate lying)
• This is something Anna would like to do in the long term, and hence won't be done immediately
