Whimsical One-shots - Week 7, Friday the 12th of September @ 5pm

• EMP has been done and GMs have been found
• Should we do reservations?
  • Usually not necessary for a smaller event like this, but it is good to know if a game should be set up in the CCZ
    • There are probably other ways to do this though
• We can put in the advertising to message an event organiser about if you need a more accessible room than the Unigames clubroom
• Because Ella has already gotten descriptions of the games from GMs, we can just post these so people can see without doing reservations

MtG Club Decks

• Highlander decks have been proxied and are in the clubroom, we are temporarily borrowing Ash's deckboxes and sleeves until we get the new ones from SPG

Pokemon Tournament

• We are planning on organising a tournament on Friday the 3rd of October
• Hopefully we will have the new deckboxes and such before then

• Feedback was received on the deck suggestions, like the 7P Highlander Deck we are just waiting on the sleeves and deckboxes for them to be complete

• We are probably going to choose 7s for the season, which means we have to redo the website a bit and lose some money, but that money is a very small amount
• Upcoming league still has not been properly set up or organised, we will just have to wait until things are ready
• Gen and Lucy will plan on sending a bump message about the new Blood Bowl League
• We are going to end the current league, will discuss on the discord later tonight on an announcement to send

Mini Painting Day - Study Break, Wednesday the 3rd of September @ 11am

• It was yesterday!
• Attendance: 4
• A bunch more people were hanging out with the painters but not directly participating
• Lucy is interested in sorting through and cataloguing the minis we have so we know what we have
• We were informed someone was interested in painting minis at a mini painting day, they don't have minis of their own, and our selection of clubroom minis is very sad
• It would be fun to have some nice, primed ones for people to paint
• In 2023 a painting competition was ran where we had a bunch of 3D printed fairy cats, we could have something similar that we get for things like this

• This quarantine zone does not exist to shame Ella, I (Nene) just have no fucking clue where to put these things

• Connor sent Tenancy an email about the Guild Master Plan, weirdly no response yet considering he sent it 1 minute before the meeting started
• Gen spoke to Jackie, who is cooking on our new tenancy contract, so we're just waiting on that
• Gen called them about the lights, apparently they have come in already and are now waiting to hear from external contractors about them
• Apparently the door has been fixed too
  • Not sure about this one though

Grants

• Anna's SPG breakdown:
  • $147.80 for Cameron Hall Quiz Night, as a security in the case we don't sell enough tickets
  • $204.00 for Clubroom storage, for a 2x4 Kallax, as well as 3 boxes for it
  • $747.30 for 8 Decks-worth of TCG Sleeves, 35 Boardgames-worth of Sleeves and 10 Deck-boxes to maintain our games
  • $57.80 for 4 Dice Trays, to minimise dice noise in the clubroom and protect our tables
• This comes to a total of $1,156.90 that we are applying for
• SPG was submitted! We will hear back about it at some point

SOC Awards

• We finally got emailed the guidelines for the SOC awards
• We would probably be well suited to Best Club Award or the Community Engagement Award
• Nene will take the lead on writing these applications, but everyone is very welcome to help
• Perhaps we will do another application who knows

Gatekeepers

• Congratulations to our new gatekeepers!
  • Grace Fowler

• Gen is going to take over doing the Gatekeeper FAQ document as a long term goal
• Discussion has started again about having gatekeeper photos/a gatekeeper list
• Jeremy thinks we have two ways of going about gatekeepers: sheet of printed paper, or polaroids
  • We would constantly be reprinting a piece of paper
  • We don't really have room for polaroids... or do we?
    • Gen thinks we can put them on the blacked out window where we currently have old camp posters, using velcro
      • We can also have people submit a photo of themself in the gatekeeper form
      • Would have their name, pronouns, and favourite game on it
• Gen also wanted to bring up that the past gatekeeper reset was handled poorly as Gatekeepers weren't given advance notice of the reset, this is something they'll take the lead on in the future to make sure it's better handled

• Jackie wants some of us to flick through the releases page in the Github to make sure it is readable to people who don't use Github
• The changes Jackie made to the constitution were made live, the constitution page on our website is now accurate
• We love Donald
• Donald has added a gatekeeper list (accessible to gatekeepers) to the website and made it more accessible, giving the ability to change the blue links to orange
• He also has added a thing where webkeepers explicitely gain superuser powers, making the default state of webkeepers less powerful and logging each time a webkeeper uses the superuser status

Diet Culture

• There's been an issue regarding diet culture comments in the clubroom regarding stuff like not eating enough or skipping meals, discussing weight and similar things
• We will send a message out to gatekeepers about this as this sort of thing can be fairly triggering to some and can make the clubroom feel like an unsafe space
• This will be tied into a general message to gatekeepers about being wary of topics of conversation in the clubroom that can make people uncomfortable

Eunigames Playmats

• Jackie sent more updates about the playmat in relation to colours
• We have an extensive discussion with Jackie about the colours of the playmat, she's going to make more mock ups for us
• Jackie has gone over 5 hours of work on the commission, she thinks there's about 3 more hours of work to do
• If we keep the $50 hourly rate, itll go up to $400 dollars
• Motion to budget $400 for the Jackie playmat commission

• We have received feedback about our objective markers for wargaming
  • They are fraying at the edges

  • We also don't have enough, we need 6 more
