President's Report:

  • Attended charity vigil, went really well
  • Have had talks with relay for life committee about possibly providing games, to be discussed further by committee

  • No-one's been answering my emails

Treasurer's Report:

  • Account balance: $3002.97
  • Helped run charity vigil
  • raised a bunch of money
  • Unigames lockbox currently full of charity vigil cash and wall box full of Unigames money heck
  • also did a food run please drink the milk
  • also the cupboard is clean and I’m so happy

Secretary's Report:

  • Been busy af
  • Work to prerelease to charity vigil to prerelease to work (F)
  • Prerelease was good though, 13 players, and we made about $35 of profit.

Charity Vigil [28th/29th September]:

  • over 1100 in cash, no eftpos numbers yet
  • event itself ran well
  • lots of feedback for the subcommittee
  • did not have ucc reps til after the event started
    • most popular ucc event may have not been monetised, if so no record of their cash
  • Other organisers were not on time which delayed pizza orders and set up
  • donation tracker was very cool
    • a few glitches, people double counted some of it so it was incorrectly updated
    • good for engagement
  • debates went really well
  • no RPGs fired
    • our demographic has shifted, less people wanted to GM
    • those who did were playing magic
  • long weekend meant people were away and had other committments
  • Closed section: Kyle is formally invited

Relay for Life [12th/13th October]:

  • Captain's meeting was missed, dates were mixed up
  • Elana is contacting them to find out what we missed
    • Elana will be going
  • Battle Tin is in UniSFA
  • Battle tin is not getting much engagement
    • on the day engagement, pay to make runners go piggyback, tug of way ect
  • Event organisers contacted us about bringing games to the event
    • we do not have the time to organise this we are busy running
    • these games could be exposed to anyone playing them without supervision, they don't know the games or how to pack up
    • if its getting set up near the ref, we and sister stalls need to be across the way to supervise
    • we could have games at our tent, people could come visit to play (schedule in advance)
    • guest book: let them borrow games but we keep track of who and when
    • schedule game times?
    • games take longer than people think
    • enlist gatekeepers who would not be participating anyway
    • recomend relay committee to get stalls to advertise what they're doing/put on the map
