• Good attendance for a day event.
• We should try to do more board game events during the day so people are incentivised to show up between classes or when they have lunch breaks etc.

Card Games - Monday 21/10 (Pre-exam Study Break)

BOTC Event - undecided on time (After exams)

• Made group chat for story-tellers
• Will be running a beginner-friendly and intermediate game.
• Will create reservations when it is organised.

MTG Club Deck Updates

• Club Archidekt account is now 100% accurate
• Still waiting on missing cards to arrive

• Mani has some questions regarding decks
  • Josh assumed the changes made would be roughly equivalent to before
  • For any difference in the price of the replacement cards, Mani would be reimbursed
  • Josh's estimation: ~$50 in reimbursement
    • A change of ~20 cards
    • Some being taken out are expensive
  • Now we have fully accurate lists, Mani is reworking some of the changes

Implementing Bank Transactions

• We need to start using Bank Transfer
  • When implemented, we'll do an in-person gatekeeper training on how to use the Bank Transfer
• We need to write up a Bank Transfer Usage Guide to send to gatekeepers and post in the clubroom

Committee Meeting Time

• Meeting time moved back again to 4.30pm (for the meantime)

Instagram

• Committee is in favor of creating an Instagram account
  • Most committee members seem to be interested in running it
• Details (thread in discord for committee to discuss further)
  • Difference between advertisement strategies on different media platforms
    • Discord is immediate, so is good for bumps for events on the day
    • Instagram is not as useful for immediate notification, so lends better towards weekly or monthly round-ups
    • Facebook crossposts don't add any extra effort to the current strategy (other than effectively one button)
