Warhammer

Warhammer 40k Tournament - Week 12, Saturday the 18th of October @ 8am

• It's this weekend!
• 10 tickets sold so far
• Lucy won't be in the room to supervise the event the whole time but will be on campus and available to be contacted

Blood Bowl

Blood Bowl League

• Gen has collated the feedback
  • People were generally happy with the league
  • Big criticism was that games were long, or people being salty
  • Criticism also about how games were organised around finals
    • People weren't respecting other people's time, not showing up for games, proxying, or postponing
  • One suggestion to mitigate this: Other leagues have a set night per week when games are played, we could do this as well, but we may not have enough resources to support ~10 individual games
    • We could in general have stricter rules about this though
  • Apparently it's still way better than everything else Unigames does
    • But this is feedback from people who love Blood Bowl and primarily engage in Blood Bowl

Collaborative Events

Cat Haven Collab - Wednesday the 19th of November @ 2pm

• Oak Lawn apparently doesn't need to be booked
• EMP was done

Ella: Advertising for Cat Haven Collab

Megagame - Thursday the 20th of November @ 10am

• There was a meeting
• Cooking will start on it a week or so after everyone's exams are done
• $5 tickets so people show up, a bunch of this money will go to Alex to pay off him buying the system, and the remainder will go to making the event cooler
• For 18-20 people, but preferably 18

JSS Collab - Wednesday the 12th of November @ 3pm

• Ash met with a guy from JSS
• They will do the EMP and advertising
• Apparently they have a list of games they want already
• Will be in the EZONE and be a games plaza sort of thing

Mini Stuff

• Once the minis are painted, the magnets will be redone on them
• Lucy has gotten through a bunch of boxes of minis and all that remains now is what's in the Monolith
• We were informed someone was interested in painting minis at a mini painting day, they don't have minis of their own, and our selection of clubroom minis is very sad
  • It would be fun to have some nice, primed ones for people to paint
  • In 2023 a painting competition was ran where we had a bunch of 3D printed fairy cats, we could have something similar that we get for things like this
• Jeremy bought magnets to remagnetise the minis, this was approved via circular
• We need more though
• Motion to approve a budget of $30 for mini magnets
