Good Games Morley Pre-releases

• Got an email from Dan Good Games
  • They're happy to facilitate events and prizing.
    • $55 with 4 boosters per player of prizing.
    • Main request from Good Games is that if we run prereleases through them we do so consistently
    • provide some form of advertisement for them
      • We already do this in our Fresher Guide with Tactics, so this is very feasible, and we were probably going to think about doing this anyway for Good Games

  • Dan Good Games has contacted us about potentially running a pre-release at UWA
  • Prerelease Price and Prizing
    • Tactics: $60 Pre-release kit, 2 packs per person
    • Good-games: $55 Pre-release kit, 2-8 packs per person (depending on attendance)
  • Good Games are also potentially interested in running Drafts through us.

Foundations Pre-release - Sunday 10/11

Foundations Jumpstart - unconfirmed

• Foundations is coming alongside a Jumpstart set
• People have asked if we are going to run Jumpstart
  • Between Foundations Pre-release and Camp we would need to run it early January, instead of the Draft
  • Another option is running it a week after the TCG extravaganza as a follow-up event

MTG Club Deck Updates

• Missing Cards
  • Horde of Notions deck is still missing a card
  • Jhoira deck was missing 1 card
    • Last missing card from Jhoira deck has arrived
• Mani has sent through a list of changes to the club decks
  • Josh is looking over the changes and has some things he would like to change (about the changes)
  • details about how the deck changes are working available in previous minutes
    • We sell old cards for store credit
    • use store credit to buy new cards
    • We reimburse Mani for anything he needs to pay out of pocket
• waiting for final version of deck changes to fit budget
• We are in the process of updating the other club decks

Josh: work on MTG club decks

MTG Precon League

• Precon League is a competition in which participants take preconstructed commander decks and upgrade them with a limited budget over the course of multiple rounds.
• Good Games will contact us regarding prizing
  • Based on previous participation of around ~16 players, if we up the price to $10 for entry, we can up prizing to about $160
    • Feedback on prizing from last precon league was that it was rather lackluster
  • Suggested to work out the details of point allocation before finalising how we do prizing for the event
  • Also suggested that each player gets at least one pack for prizing regardless of league results
  • Gibbi has also suggested that we include prizes like Sleeves and Deck Boxes > Josh: Work on Precon League Administration

Streets of New [redacted] Draft?

• We have a box of New Capenna in the monolith, will put out an EOI to see if it is worth drafting the set
• Otherwise we may auction it off or sell packs in the clubroom

Pokemon TCG

Pokemon Decks

• We should move away from club decks being built within the unlimited format, and focus on standard decks
• Decks are mostly decided on
• Suggested to put future discussion of deck updates alongside book buy > Nene: Contact Pokemon Deck Owners

Combined TCG Extravaganza - after camp

• No updates
  • Jeremy will contact people in the next few days
• Event with multiple TCG formats (Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Flesh and Blood)
  • Donald is willing to help run Flesh and Blood games
  • Jon and David would like to run some Netrunner games
  • Josh can run Shadowverse: Evolve

Next Warhammer Tournament - Sunday, 17/11 @ 8:15am

• It's happening!
• Talked with Matt about event entry
  • As it is a Unigames event, Unigames members received early ticket availability
  • There is a chance Matt won't be able to make it, and if so he will send a different Tournament Organiser in his place
• Tickets are $45 per pair
• If you have any questions about the tournament, talk to Matt (flooploop in discord)
• Giumelli Learning studio 1 and 2 (EZone 206 and 207)

Warhammer Materials

• Waiting for Book Buy before bringing up Age of Sigmar
• Unbuilt terrain to be built and stored in the tub under the money box soon
  • Going to build the terrain either on Sunday or Monday next week

Blood Bowl

• Round 7 ongoing
  • Heading into exam season so scheduling might get weird
  • right now, second week of finals is around 23/12
• Check the #bb-scoreboard channel to see the standings!
• Check the Blood Bowl Mat Schedule to see if the club's Blood Bowl materials are availabe for league games
• Nupdates for Blood Bowl Miniature Protection
  • Set of plastic drawers
    • Wouldn't be kept in the box
    • If we get more teams as a club, it would mean we can keep them all in one place.
    • More protective than keeping them in the box as they would be the only things in these draws
  • Nene has some drawers that might work
  • Alongside the drawers, suggested to separate the Blood Bowl materials from the teams themselves on the website
• Cam is still willing to paint the minis
• Games Workshop has been distributing tournament sets to Local Game Stores
  • We don't know much about the details, so it may be worth contacting Tactics or GW to see if there is a way we can get access to this > Gen, Nix: Temporary Blood Bowl miniature protection > Josh: Talk to Tactics about Blood Bowl tournament sets

• Reorganisation of Mini Shelf (Nupdates)

• We have a shelf full of minis that aren't always used but are otherwise taking up a lot of space
  • We could put them in the storage box with our other minis, checking with members beforehand
    • Committee is in favour of this option
  • Putting out a facebook post to notify members to reclaim their minis from the shelf
    • (Update) Post has gone out, no responses yet, will leave up for a little while

  • We have some broken minis that we can throw out
    • (Update) We have separated out the broken minis from various locations
  • Otherwise we can strip these minis and put them in with the other unpainted minis

Instagram

• Instagram account has been made
• Nupdates until after exams
• Details (thread in discord for committee to discuss further)
  • Difference between advertisement strategies on different media platforms
    • Discord is immediate, so is good for bumps for events on the day
    • Instagram is not as useful for immediate notification, so lends better towards weekly or monthly round-ups
    • Facebook crossposts don't add any extra effort to the current strategy (other than effectively one button)
