Wargaming O'Day - Week 4, 16th-22nd of March

  • Last year we ran an Intro to Wargaming event which was okay
  • It may be better to do a Wargaming O'Day, structured similarly to RPG O'Day, where we have 'system experts' who explain and pitch their systems
    • According to old minutes, this is something Gen thought last year, ahead of the curve
  • Definitely more Fresher-friendly, easier to run, and involves more of the wargaming community
  • Can also show off minis
  • Gen can organise it

Joint Camp - Friday-Monday the 5th-8th of December

  • Final meeting was had
  • Went over feedback
    • For Unigames related feedback:
      • Assassins wasn't run as well as it could have been
        • People not wearing their badges
        • Not keeping track of the kills
          • The paper for tracking everything did go missing
        • Never really announced as over
        • No one really speaking to the head assassins
        • Also interest in assassins is generally a bit low
      • One-shots
        • Apparently one ran
        • They're not run as often as they used to be
  • Profit distribution was approved by subcom
  • Motion to approve the Joint Camp profit distribution:
    • Passes unanimously

Uncharity Vigil - Friday-Saturday the 6-7th of February

  • What events will we run?
    • Probably Bananagrams tournament
      • Multiple people can bring in more Bananagrams
    • Ta Yu tournament was popular last time also, but maybe two is a lot
    • Pay to win boardgames and RPGs as always

Annual General Meeting - Week 1, Friday the 27th of February @ 2pm

  • GCR has been booked, but not approved yet
  • We need an RO before everything can be announced so they can take absentee votes
    • Or like we don't need to but this is the new best practice
  • Nene told everyone to think of an RO, who did everyone think of?
    • We can contact gatekeepers?
  • Also how do we run election nominations?
    • It's a nightmare
    • We can use Discord forum, or Facebook
    • Or google form, this sucks really bad

      • Passes unanimously
    • We can't enter it into the website yet but we can stamp it and have Winslade write a message

  • The mini boxes still need to be glued, we bought the wood glue for them previously
