Wargaming

Introductory Painting day

• Talked to Cam about potential dates, will need to confirm date later as we want to run the event during semester
  • Cam isn't really available after the 22nd of February until mid-semester
  • "Mid-semester" wouldn't be that much of a pushback for an intro event considering our intro events currently run until week 4
    • Maybe worth confirming with Cam when that would be
  • Other options are running an intro event without Cam which is not ideal but possible
• EOI ~~will be~~ no longer due mid week 1
  • Tentatively $5 entry
• Will have Imperial Guardsmen to paint > Nix: Confirm dates with Cam

Warhammer Tournament - Saturday 15/03

Blood Bowl

• Round 1 has started!

• Commissioner regulations
  • Written, going over them this meeting
• Motion to approve the addition of the below regulation for appointment of commissioners
  • 15. The Committee may appoint consenting members to the role of Commissioner. Commissioners shall have the following duties and powers, in addition to those elsewhere in the Regulations:
        • a. To act in good faith and for the benefit of Unigames;
    • b. To uphold and enforce the rules and regulations of Unigames;
      • c. To supervise and facilitate events assigned to the role;
      • d. To ensure the security of the clubroom and Unigames' assets;
      • e. To act in a manner that is welcoming and inclusive;
      • f. To provide assistance to persons interacting with the ongoing event; and,
      • g. To notify the Committee of any misconduct and take disciplinary action where appropriate and proportional, up to and including:
        • i. Issuing a Formal Warning;
        • ii. Restricting access to some or all of the ongoing event to which the role is assigned, until a time no later than the next Committee Meeting;
        • iii. In-event penalties, such as the deduction of points.
      • h. In cases where a participant's conduct goes directly against the Unigames code of conduct, the incident will be directly referred to Unigames Committee

Uncharity Vigil - 1st - 2nd February

• Very successful event overall
• Pizza was had
• New dragon!!!

  • Impromptu Magic draft worked really well
    • We should organise one for next time
    • Clashed with timetabling, but this would be fixed if it was pre-organised and scheduled
  • In general, some major clashes between the Smash and Nidhogg tournaments
  • UWA Esports was a great addition to the event
    • Taskmaster was very fun
    • Good format for Uncharity
  • Breakfast
    • We forgor bowls
      • Will fix this for next time if we do breakfast again
    • Over-estimated how many people would want breakfast
  • Lets maybe not do the Carolina Reaper thing again
    • Potentially entertaining in theory but ended up being a messy thing
    • Health/gross Risks
  • Lack of Unigames activities
    • There was only a couple of one-shots
    • Other activities were about the same frequency as usual
    • Booking tables for specific events would be good for organising one-shots, and also works for our other activities
  • 5pm start felt good, wasn't quite as exhausting once we hit midnight
    • Better from an organisation point of view as well
  • Attendance was close to average
  • Less raffle prizes than usual
    • Potentially due to Esports bringing a few bigger prizes as opposed to a few smaller ones
    • Some of the other prizes were a bit smaller so the overall range may have contributed to this
• Bank transfer on the night
  • Worked well, apart from one transaction which was sorted
• Planning on making some printouts for some of the games on the night as examples of how to pay-to-win them
  • Printouts looked good
• Feedback form will be coming out next week

O-Day - Friday 21/02
