• No new boxes yet, will hopefully get some on Thursday

7 Point Event - Sunday the 15th of February @ 12pm

• The people want another one
• Ash is happy to do prizing for this
• EMP and advertising done, will hopefully have more people than the last
• People are interested in this being a monthly event
• We rediscuss about having us pay for prizing at 7 Point Events
  • It is fine, we can charge $5 for entry and have prizing where everyone gets a pack/some sort of prize for attending and winner gets something additional
  • Alternatively it could be free entry and the winner gets a Unigames prize token from our merch
• It's too late to organise with this event but the next committee can organise running these events alongside Good Games for promotion

Lorwyn Draft - O-Week, Monday the 16th of February @ 12pm

• There will be reservations for this
• 21 dollars for entry
• EMP done, advertising goes out today

Fresher Zone

Fresher Campaigns

• 5 EOI responses so far
• Might be time to reach out to people individually
• We have a pretty long discussion about the state of Fresher Campaigns
  • It's now a second year of low interest in Fresher Campaign GMs, this makes sense as people move on and grow and it's a pretty difficult job
  • The other difficult part is that a Fresher GM is ideally someone who is an established member of Unigames, perhaps a gatekeeper, who is familiar with the club processes, we can't just make Fresher GMs immediately
  • When we have 70 Freshers wanting to do Fresher Campaigns and only 5 GMs, what are we meant to do?
  • Nene talks about potentially scaling back how much we talk about or do Fresher Campaigns, this is contentious as Fresher Campaigns are something that are good for initiating people into the club, helping them make friends, it reaches a different crowd than people who show up to one-shot nights
  • Gen acknowledges even if we only have 5 GMs, that's still like 30 Freshers in a campaign, Nene points out this is already a form of scaling back Fresher Campaign operations by accepting only 30 people can do it, it could potentially become 25, then 20, etc
    • Gen points out we may see renewed interest later though, just because this is the trend now doesn't mean it will be the trend forever
• Conversation then pivots to the RPG Finder channel in the Discord
  • Nene points out this has been seeing some use lately, moreso than it has in a while, and posits we could do analogue RPG finding where we have sign-ups in person either by forms, posters, etc. Ash agrees as this was a point they were about to make
  • We could use the pinboard for this instead of covering it in information that, while helpful, a lot of people don't pay attention to
    • We can also put this info anywhere else
  • There's some discussion about how to properly run an analogue RPG finder, mainly about how people doing RPG finding should communicate with each other
    • Ash thinks it should be telling people to show up at a time and place like how Westmarches run, Jeremy thinks it could have someones Discord tag so they can message and get things organised

New Dragon

• It has its own place so not to clog the Uncharity section
• The winning dragon was the shooting star dragon!
• Nene has started working on it already
• Things that have been changed:
  • The gradient has been slightly adjusted
  • Has been done in increments instead of a proper gradient so that it's easier to vectorise
    • I'm editing these minutes 12/02 at 5:55pm: it did not make it easier to vectorise. Vectorising is so hellish.
• Things staying the same:
  • Shooting star design on the wings
  • Little body and face embellishments
  • Trying to make the swirly body segments work
  • Also trying to make the wing segment decorations work

• We discuss the following regulations:
  • 8. The President and Treasurer must both be signatories on the Unigames External Banking Account.
    • 8.1. At any Committee or General meeting, this amount should be below $1,000.
      • 8.1.1. This limit can be breached with the approval of the Committee. This should be re-approved each Committee or General meeting until the value has dropped below $1,000.
  • 9. Up to two debit cards may be issued for the Unigames External Bank Account in the name of the President and/or Treasurer.
    • 9.1. These cards must be stored in the combination lockbox in the filing cabinet.
    • 9.2. Cards may only be used by a designated Committee Member, with the approval of the Committee for specified budgeted purchase(s).
      • 9.2.1. In the event that a card is lost or compromised, it shall be the responsibility of the designated Committee member to replace the card and they shall be liable for any financial damages incurred.
    • 9.3. These cards may not be stored in a Digital Wallet (eg: Apple Pay, Google Pay), the physical card must always be used.
