  • Valerie wants to run a general boardgame event with games such as:

    • etc
      • But this could just be a solo event most likely, as there is no real reason to make this a collab

Students of Biological Sciences collab - Week 10, Wednesday May 6th @ 5-8pm

  • We've been contacted to do a collab
  • Ella had a meeting with them!
    • They're pretty interested
    • Free tickets for numbers was floated by SOBs but we don't need to do this
  • They would like to do food but will have to talk to their committee
    • Food budget from SOBS for a 50/50 split of $100
      • Thats a lot, we don't need this much
    • Either Costco catering or pizza
      • We should maybe budget between $50 between the clubs instead
    • Ella will talk with them more, we can reassess

Week 9 RPG night...Vampire Oneshots - Saturday 2nd of May @ 5pm

  • This is for after the UWA blood drive
  • Ronan has made advertising, Ella has done the EMP
  • We're running games like Vampire: The Masquerade/Requiem

    • GM workshops could be a separate event as well

    • GM workshop might b e nice for study week, playtest night for holidays so people have more free time to work on projects

  • It's been pretty popular with a lot off fresher interest

  • Need to think about sleeves and deck boxes once deck list is done
  • Motion to approve $80 for deck boxes and sleeves

  • We've had a look in our library and we have enough sleeves but well still need deck boxes

7 point event - Week 10, Sunday 9th of May

    • Maybe towards week 10
  • We've had some feedback about doing prizing
    • It will likely be a Sunday, which could collide with a SNOM which will lead to the events fusing...this might not be the best. Prizing may not be the best
  • If we do prizing we need to do ticketing
    • We do like to try keep our events free to attend
    • We could do a split of prizing/non prizing but that is a lot more work
    • We could do dollar coin
  • We do have those magnets we could do for prizing
  • We also have the unigames merch treasure token
    • They don't sell much
    • They are commissioned art
    • There was previous concerns about devaluing them due to them being anniversary items
  • Gold coin entry might be the go! (payed by card as well)
    • Let's do a choice between a treasure token and a pack for the winner!

One Piece TCG event, Friday the 24th of April

  • Sven and Nate would like to run this
  • Using TCG Oday to gauge interest
  • Might be worth combining with Pokemon event - we have now decided against this
  • Lots of interest, worth doing an intro to One Piece event
  • Nate talked to Dani (fresher who's quite into this) about this
    • Nate will make a group chat of interested parties to run the event
  • Week 8 would be when we plan to run this
  • EMP has been done!
  • We're hoping for ~10 people to be able to play at once (5 games)

  • It might be worth looking into running something pokemon related!
  • We're quite busy at the moment but will come back top this!

Deck maintenance

  • Our pokemon decks are a little out of date

  • A member, Mitch, had interest in updating these
    • Nate has talked to Mitch

  • Lucy has contacted Matt regarding an early sem 1 tournament
  • Put an EOI or poll in wargames chat, maybe after Wargames Oday
    • Has not been done yet but there's not too much interest in Warhammer at the moment, a lot of other non GW wargames have more interest
  • We do have date, 23rd of May though may have to move forward
    • Maybe to plan for after exams at this point
  • Someone else will need to be there besides Lucy

    • However we're thinking of doing a general event with them

Tokyo Alley - Week 10, Saturday-Sunday the 9th-10th of May

  • They seem to care about our feedback!
    • We will get 5 free passes and additional passes for $35 each
    • We will be set up in a quiet area with more tables
  • We will do drop in drop out boss fights, and some fun silly boardgames
    • Sven spoke to people from Swancon running a stall at Comic Con
      • They had a sign up for their RPGs
      • They had games to borrow
  • We will need a car to drive stuff
  • Ronan, Rex (Sunday only), Valerie, Lucy and Ella will be available
  • We want at least 3 GM's
    • Lucy and Rex could GM if requested
  • We'll get sent some info on previous games that have been run for reference
  • We need to submit public insurance liability forms
    • We might need to do an EMP for it
  • We didn't had the details emailed in time, we submitted the EMP but it should be fine

Charity Vigil - Easter weekend, 3rd to 4th April

  • The charity we will be supporting this year is Teach Learn Grow (TLC)

      • We might want a handover for how to do those tournaments

    • Must be submitted by 5pm Wednesday to be posted on Saturday

    • We email guild with the poster, they have some requirements we need to follow for the poster
    • EMP must be submitted and approved for events

  • We raised $825.85! Door and raffle money is being sorted out now
    • With door and raffle finalised, the total is $944.00

    1. Battle mats and bloodbowl mats may only be borrowed short term, and cannot leave Cameron Hall.
    2. In the case that Cameron Hall is both too busy and unsuitable to hold an intended game or event, they may be long-term borrowed provided that they don't leave the UWA campus and for no more than 24 hours.
      1. When doing this, both short-term and long-term borrowing procedures must be followed. (i.e. Long term borrow must be processed through the website or borrowing book, and a form of valid ID must be left attached to the wall box.)
    3. Each battle mat has a number written on its corners, or has a name associated with it. Whenever a battle mat is borrowed, that number or name must be documented.
    4. An exception to the above are the battle mat/s and bloodbowl mat/s specified in the website, which may be borrowed out for 7 days or less with all regular borrowing rules applied.
