Reports

Vice President's Report (Ella)

• ♡ I ran or organised 17 events this semester, including 8 collaborative events
• ☆ I have been on 4 subcommittees to organise the major events such as PROSH, charity vigil and am currently chair of the joint quiz subcom and (position) of joint camp subcom
• ♡ I was camp leader for our magic and mayhem camp, in this role I organised the venue arrangements, cooking guide, roster organisation and general running of the camp.
• ☆ I also ran 3 of the events held at camp, and assisted in another
• ♡ Completely organised the hoodie design competition and hoodie orders, how awesome are they!
• ☆ I also handled a significant amount of the bookbuy, ordering a majority of the games
• ♡ Have attended every SOCPAC meeting on behalf of Unigames, and handled a lot of the SOC bureaucracy
• ☆ I have been organising phoenix alongside Ronan, and have pushed for the collaboration between UniSFA and Unigames for workshop events
• ♡ I have done a lot of the social media! Reels! General posts! Gatekeeper and committee photos and posters also!
• ☆ I also have tried to help everyone on committee as much as I can, and have also been acting president for a bit!
• ♡ Hype all of our lovely committee this semester for keeping everything chugging!!

Treasurer's Report (Apollo)

• I arrived a little late to committee this semester, but I otherwise had a lot of fun!! It is really nice being in a different exec role besides secretary and on a different committee.
• In semester one I ran I think the lowest amount of events on committee despite not being the newest, but because of that I have helped out a lot in admin and in behind the scenes tasks as surprisingly an advisor in some cases (#i'm old), and less surprisingly in doing admin help.
• But the one event I did do is Camp, which I subbed in a couple weeks beforehand as a replacement camp leader. The event went generally well with a couple hiccups, but those were relatively minor in the grand scheme of things and feedback from the event had it running very well. I also as treasurer was put straight into making the budget, with the final parts of the profit being put in as of this week (I have been busy since camp and it is not the end of the world).
• In terms of admin, I helped bring in a password manager. When I arrived into committee I saw that they were still using a google doc, and after being on a committee with a apssword manager I decided to also change this in Unigames. We are now using what UniSFA uses, bitwarden, and hopefully this will make the future job of many secretaries and others on committee easier.
• I also changed up some regulations in terms of monies, mainly in terms of the bank account. The main changes I added that will properly go into effect after this meeting (due to getting a new President) are adding the VP to the bank account (and optionally any other executive), adding some dates things need to be done by, a bank account limit for the AGM, and some times to the budgets already in the regulations.
• Thank you to those on committee for making me feel welcome, and I look forward to giving someone else a warm welcome after this meeting too!!

Secretary's Report (Lucy)

• Writing and posting (most) minutes, generally day of meeting
• Also minuting for current quiz night subcom
• I've been doing the Weekly What's On posts
• Tabulating events, attendance, days and advertising
• Doing a lot of behind the scenes admin like:
  • Organising Gatekeeper FAQ
  • Reorganising committee Google drive
• Designed the camp poster and wrote advertising
• Ran 6 events so far this year
• Organised Tokyo Alley, currently organising Pixel Expo
• Organised a bunch of Wargames related events, currently working on bringing Warmachine to Unigames

Librarian's Report (Valerie)

• I was OCM for (most) of the year so far, where I've organised and run 13 events, including 4 board game events, 3 RPG events, and of course 6 Magic Nights!
• I've made SNoM a consistent event, running them every other Friday and Sunday, with significantly more attendance on Fridays
• I've also done things like library for Tokyo Alley and camp, current organisation for Pixel Expo, stayed up all night and went to Prosh, a lot of camp quiz, managing the calendar, one (and a half) minutes, and event tabulation
• I've done a lot of work with advertising, putting lots of hours into posters and Instagram reels
• I've reorganised the library, did some of the tail-end of bookbuy, various deck maintenance and various board game maintenance

Fresher Rep's Report (Ronan)

• I coordinated the semester 1 fresher campaigns, and am looking forward to getting started on the sem 2 campaigns (and writing a handover on how to go about the campaign allocations). A big thank you to our fantastic fresher GMs for their work this semester!
• I have been involved in running around 7 different events, including vampire one-shots for the UWA vampire cup, Phoenix workshops alongside Ella, and our deck building collaboration event with Esports. as well as this, I also assisted with our stall at Tokyo Alley earlier this year
• I coordinated the repairs to one of the tables in the club room
• I have also been involved with creating advertising including posters and reels to promote the club and our events such as camp!

OCM's Reports (Kynan, Nate, Rex, Sophie)

• Nate // Initiative: 10 on D20
  • What’s up gamers its the chud OCM
  • I have ran/organised a grand total of 7 events and have started to take over in running magic pre releases which I have started to make more accessible but not to my wallet
  • I was Head First Aid on camp attending to so little incidents which was a relief, but ended up compiling reports
  • I ran assassins on camp which was very successful with a participation of 24 people and the handing outs of three awards
  • I have gone through all club decks (excluding Pokemon and flesh and blood) and named them along with attaching QR codes to be used by all the peoples.
• Rex // Initiative: 2 on D6
  • I became OCM for Unigames at our AGM earlier this year and have been performing the duties thereof since.
  • This has included me advertising all of... two events, whilst running three. I have performed auxiliary duties in one further event (Standing in for our organising committee member briefly)
  • Aside from that, was at our Tokyo Alley stall earlier this year.
  • Was involved in running assassins on camp, along with Supposedly oneshots (whoops)
  • Thanks to my efforts, this timestream is stable!

• Sophie // Initiative: 1 on D12
  • In my time on committee I’ve been on two subcommittees, stayed up for prosh (which is technically not a job but sucked hard enough to list here), and ran a couple of events. I am looking at being better at taking initiative with them and getting out of my comfort zone more.
  • I’ve helped facilitate two new collaborations, the second of which will be next Monday with uni college (folks please come and help make some overseas students feel welcome!)
  • Taken on room care a bit more and finally bought us a rug (and kallax organiser), and I’m also working with Ronan on a solution for the couch cushions. Trying to come up with a solution for some of the messier parts of club too!
