Unigames November Newsletter 2024

We're at the beginning of December now, and we've wrapped up some big events and are looking forward to Christmas! Get your wizard cloaks and defrost your miniature Mariah Careys as we look at some of the events we started our break with, and have a little look at the upcoming events we have real soon!

These newsletters are releasing MONTHLY, so check your inboxes at the end of each month for an update on where Unigames is at and what’s coming up!

Upcoming at Unigames

Into the Mausritter

On Wednesday the 11th of December at 2pm, Unigames will be holding a One-shot Night featuring the systems Into the Odd and Mausritter! Come on down next wednesday for some fun games run by our experienced Game Masters!

You might be wondering what Unigames has been up to this last little while, so here's a quick summary of what's happened since June!

Major Events

Blood on the Clocktower - Monday 11/11 and 2/12

This November, our members got together to run not one but two Blood on the Clocktower events! Old friends and new allies got together to determine who the demons were in this Unigames classic social deduction game.

Warhammer Doubles Tournament - Sunday 17/11

This November, our resident wargamers paired up to form doubles teams for our Warhammer Doubles Tournament! Our winners for the tournament were (incomplete)

Wizard Camp - Friday 22/11 - Monday 25/11

This year's Joint Camp with UniSFA and UCC was a reprisal of an old classic: Wizard Camp! Attendees participated in many activities such as: - Trope Talks - LARP - With help and additional resources from Lionel Pryce - Virtual Reality Games - Assassins - LAN Games - And Much More! Phoenix

Some of our committee members have been working real hard on our zine known as Phoenix, alonside all those who submitted something to be included. The theme this year is "Revival", and it is NEARLY READY!!! Keep an eye on your inboxes and announcements over the next few days for the release of Phoenix!

RPGs and Boardgames

Unigames have held a number of RPG and Boardgame events over the last while. Here’s the list of all of the regular RPG and Boardgame events we have run since the last newsletter:
